Trip to Montreal - August 26th

My sister Debbie Brian was having a real down period. Hard to explain but I knew I needed to treat her to a special day. When I was a teenager I always was in a rush but I always wanted to be able to walk through Old Montreal. I discovered my step sister was a perfect Old Montreal Guide. I decided to treat her to a day out. Just walking and talking and comparing notes. I learned a lot of family history by just taking in the beauty of that day along with my sister.

-The waterfront is beautifully restored and is a
gathering place for thousands of tourists

-Tour boats with dinner meals

-Marche Bonsecour (Market) which is now a trendy mall of shops

-Montreal City Hall

-Lord Nelson's Statue

-A view of the Place Jacques Cartier
-This section of Montreal dates back to 1642

-We ate a perfect French Canadian meal
at this small cafe named Suzette's

-Of course we had to have Crepe's

Old Montreal has become a trendy place to work and live. Oddly enough her son Justin Bradley was doing a screen test for a movie only a few blocks away. Justin was a star on the Disney show "Naturally Sadie".

-As we walked along we stumbled in to China Town
