Trip to Plant City and Lakeland, Florida

Good friends, David and Lesley Boyd from England decided to treat Lorraine and I to an afternoon of adventure. For years we have heard about the Plant City Strawberry Festival but we never knew where it was. Less then an hour West of Kissimmee is this wonderful village where billions of strawberries are in season every spring.

-This road side farmers stand is the heart of the strawberry sundaes

-Our second surprise was a trip to Hollis Gardens in Lakeland
-Located in downtown Lakeland and yet a haven of tranquility

-All through the park are statutes of people in everyday life
